The Waikanae River Trail is a picturesque ride that winds alongside the tree-lined banks of the Waikanae River. Te Ara o Whareroa
For a scenic and easygoing ride, Te Ara o Whareroa is well worth exploring. This 6km shared trail winds through the stunning dune landscapes of Queen Elizabeth Park, offering a relaxing outdoor experience for cyclists of all levels. With its mostly flat, wide, sealed path, it’s perfect for families, beginners, or those easing back into biking.

Red Tape
Located in Whareroa Farm, Red Tape is an exciting downhilll mountain biking track perfect for intermediate riders. Begin at the farm base, following Link Track’s gentle uphill zigzag to Five Ways Lookout, where valley and ocean views await. From there, Red Tape kicks off with a flowing descent through regenerating native bush, packed with loops, bends and bumps.

Campbell’s Mill Road
Located in Whareroa Farm, Campbell Mill’s road is a wide, easy 4WD track that connects Maungakotukutuku Road to Akatarawa Forest. Featuring stunning views over Kapiti Island and the coastline, it is a key connector route between the top of the Five Ways Track, the Horse Track, and Catchment View Track.
