For a sealed trail, Coast 35 is 35km of shared path which runs the length of the Kāpiti Coast (parallel with the Kāpiti Expressway). If it is windy or rain is threatening, the dense canopies at many of the Coast's bush walks provide some shelter. The coastal trails which traverse free-draining sand country are ideal when it has been raining.
