Here’s the low down on what you will find happening at each location:

Dark Horse HQ & Sheffield Street Espresso Garden
8am – 3pm

Experience the journey of bucking delicious Dark Horse Coffee from bean to cup as you travel down the Laneway. Welcoming you right at the front gate will be Dark Horse’s incredible baristas, serving up brews and banter.

Enjoy live acoustic music to set the tone, accompanied by a few tasty morsels to prepare you for the family fun ahead.

See the Graffiti artists -  The Kāpiti Paint Benders in action in the Sheffield St laneway outside Dark Horse creating some work. 

Plus check out Artist stalls in the laneway: 

Creep: Young and trending skateboard vibes drawing in the coolness.

Klama Bang: Bold and eclectic artworks electrifying the crowd. 

Ashling Aileron: Ink dragons and charcoal artworks mystifying the realm.

Duncan’s Brewery
11am – 7pm

Grab a table in the brewery and choose from 10 beers on tap. Plus, Duncan’s are teaming up with their good mates Cherrywood Food Truck, Smoked and Pickled, Croc Shakes and various muso's to bring you an afternoon of dessert inspired and session worthy brews, tasty kai and ace tunes!

Kaibosh Food Rescue
11am – 3pm

Kaibosh Food Rescue brings you a family friendly fun-zone and a snazzy sausage sizzle with a twist! The food rescue charity is collaborating with local food businessesto use fresh and upcycled food ingredients for a #zerowaste BBQ! 

Plus check out the amazing Smoothie Bikes back in action - a hit from last year! Use leg power to create your own upcycled fresh fruit smoothie.

Montfoort
9am – 3pm

Montfoort will be bringing the treats and sweets to the Sheffield Street block party! Freshly made Poffertjes, Stroopwafels and Oliebollen from 9am till midday. From 1.30pm they'll be serving up crispy fried Bitterballen, the perfect beer snack!

You will also have beautiful bunches of flowers for sale from Flo's Flowers, Waikanae and Daisy Face Painting from 10am till 1pm.

The Roastery
8am – 3pm

Join us for coffee roasting demonstrations. Sip your favourite brew while listening to tunes from local singer-songwriter Ryan Edwards who will be playing 9am – 11am.

Also, try some products from local company Purebread who will be offering free samples of their gluten free bread and Rosedale fruit bread.

Paraparaumu Fire Brigade
11am – 1pm

Visit the Fire Engine on the corner of Sheffield Street outside Dulux and chat to the Fire Fighters.

The Bond Store, Birmingham St
11am – 7pm

Prepare for an unforgettable day of thrills and indulgence at The Bond Store! Step into a world where the action never stops—sip expertly crafted cocktails in the vibrant garden bar, explore the heart of the distillery, and savour the finest artisan treasures Kāpiti has to offer.

The North End legends are pulling up with their signature Block Party Pour, turning this day up a notch. Plus, keep your eyes peeled—there might be some surprise merch giveaways from them in the mix!

Block Party Pour – Session IPA, with new season hops from the Eggers hop garden in Moutere Valley. Block Party Pour Session IPA is a 4.5% based on the modern hop forward session beers of Britain. Light bodied, modestly alcoholic and yet bursting with a vibrant fruity tropical hop character.  With Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka and new bespoke variety Eggers Special. The result is massively hoppy but also massively drinkable. Three words to describe this beer: Dry, Fruity, Sessionable!

  • Feel the rush as Capital Pro Wrestling takes over the arena, delivering excitement with electrifying demonstrations that will have you on the edge of your seat.
  • Get ready to groove, as Mostly Music unveils an incredible live music lineup, featuring the stunningly talented Jess Deacon and a host of local musical legends.
  • Taste the best of Kāpiti with mouthwatering creations from some of our food trucks
  • Immerse yourself in the market stalls on offer, showcasing the region’s finest producers and creative artisans.

Monsta Truck Tattoo
10am – 6pm

John Roberts of Monsta Truck Tattoo will be joined by Craigy Lee, from Union Tattoo, and Robyn Holland, body Painter extraordinaire. The team will be doing walk up tattoos for the adults priced from $120 to $250. With Robyn doing awesome face painting for the kids. This will be on a first in first served basis so get in quick.

Best Parking and Pedestrian Access

You will find ample street parking on Birmingham Street, and you can wander across Te Roto Drive to Sheffield Street and then back to The Bond Store on Birmingham Street.

There will be a pedestrian crossing set up from outside BCE to support you crossing Te Roto drive and accessing Sheffield St.

Sheffield Street also has limited street parking.
