North End Brewing crafts European-inspired beers with a natural twist, drawing their name from Kapiti Island, where the aptly named ‘North End’ is most visible from Waikanae Beach. Savour their refreshing brews at various Food Folk collective locations, including Salt & Wood, conveniently adjoined to the brewery.

The Bond Store Tasting Room takes the art of sipping spirits to a whole new level. Open 6 days a week, you can call in and try out different spirits, liqueurs and cocktails, take a tour with the head distiller, or simply chill in the garden and enjoy your favourite cocktails with a platter of local artisan products. 

Founded in 2018 by owner, Carmen, Elemental Cider is dedicated to crafting traditional cider in Ōtaki using fresh, locally grown fruit. Known for its dry, crisp profile, it has earned amassed numerous accolades at the prestigious New Zealand Fruit Wine and Cider Awards.

Imagination Gin is an award-winning distillery nestled in the lush Reikorangi Valley - the same place where NZ’s trail-blazing craft brewery, Tuatara, was born. Sourcing many of its ingredients from local, family-run farms and orchards, this craft distillery is known for producing pure, vibrant gins using charcoal-filtered rainwater collected on site.
